The More We Get Together

Traditional American.

The more we get together,

Together, together.

The more we get together,

The happier we’ll be!

For your friends are my friends,

And my friends are your friends.

The more we get together,

The happier we’ll be!

Autumn Leaves

Sung to “London Bridge.”

Autumn leaves are falling down, falling down, falling down.

Autumn leaves are falling down, red, yellow, and brown.

Rake them up into a pile, into a pile, into a pile.

Rake them up into a pile, watch me jump inside!

Shiny leaves to toss up high, toss up high, toss up high.

Shiny leaves to toss up high, high up to the sky!

Welcome Friends

Sung to “Skip to My Lou.”

Welcome, welcome, welcome friends!

Welcome, welcome, welcome friends!

Welcome, welcome, welcome friends!

Glad you are here today!

Say, “Hello” to my friends now.

Say, “Hello” to my friends now.

Say, “Hello” to my friends now.

Glad you are here today!

Mr. Hooty Owl

Sung to “Ten Little Indians.”

Mr. Hooty Owl perched up in a tree.

“Whooooo goes there?” he said to me.

I looked up high in that old oak,

But could not find the owl that spoke.

In the sky, I saw that bird.

“Whooo, whooo, whooo!” was all I heard!

He spun his head all around

And lifted his wings with a swooshing sound!
