Mother Goose is coming to The Kids’ Spot!

Mother Goose is coming September 24^th.  She will visit just after a.m. snack at 10:30.  Mother Goose heard that we are kicking off our Preschool year and wants to join us in our month long back to school celebration!  She’ll have her wonderful stories and great activities tailored especially for our young friends.  We’re so excited!

This year Clifford The Big Red Dog^® will be a big part of our learning and fun.  Look for your child to bring home Scholastic’s Clifford The Big Red Dog^® classroom magazine twice a month during our preschool year.  Scholastic Classroom Magazines for Pre-K help students practice their reading and analytical skills as well as address issues which are relevant to both their academic and personal lives. Perhaps equally as important, magazines are great for motivating children to want to learn!.  Our friend Clifford will help prepare your children for their next BIG step into kindergarten by covering both pre-academic and social development skills.  We will be enjoying the magazines as well as various other activities that tie into Clifford’s Big Idea for the week!

The Fabulously Fun Fitness Program for Happy Healthy Kids assists The Kids' Spot in developing good health and fitness habits in our children.

 
Coach Erin earned her Masters of Arts degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from the University of Nebraska Omaha where she also lead the Mav Kids Programs.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an emphasis in Sports Management from The University of Kansas.  While at KU, she was also a member and captain of the University of Kansas Women's Volleyball Club.  Coach Erin has a PASSION for fitness, fun and helping the youth in Omaha lead active and healthy lives.  
 

With so many summer activities, Stretch-n-Grow does not join us in August but Coach Erin will be back in September to share healthy fun with us!
